Today's Guardian carries the story of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority axing the commercial director role ( http://www.theguardian.com/business/2014/jan/09/nuclear-decommissioning-authority-axes-commercial-director-role ). The axing of the role follows on from criticism of the body by politicians on the public accounts committee. Lose the role or change the person? usually it is the latter and not the former. Perhaps if the new structure is more focussed towards the work at Sellafield then this might be a reason, what happens to the other sites?
